I am just way to shy to say I like her...

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Male
I have liked this girl for about two years. She is really confident and always likes to laugh and have fun. I used to go out with her like 2 years ago i think, anyways she broke up with me because she said she felt "awkward" going out with her best friend. Now two years have passed and I have grown an intrest with her again, but I have no self confidence, I am very very shy. (Never had a first kiss either). I flirt with her but she laughs sometimes but I just feel really shy to sit by her at football games or at the movies. I am just way to shy to say I like her... She wants me to call her daily just to chit chat but I don't know what to talk about, and her parents arn't so fond of me you could say... Whenever I am around her I feel uncomfortable and think everyone is watching me.
When I sat by her one time at the movies I just felt like I couldn't do anything because all of her friends were around. Please help me.

RomanceClass.com Advice
Everyone is shy at first.

The only way to get over it is to get in there and start participating in the joy of living. Bravery will be very helpful in this effort.

Get used to making small talk (chit-chat) as well as talking about important things... relationships, friends, feelings, family, school, pets, etc.

Here is one of our webpages that will give you things to talk about:

Hope this helps! George
