hes a bodybuilder and girls constantly check him out

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Female
I am never jealous of girls when I am out in public by myself but when I am with my boyfriend I am constantly jealous. In the beginning of our relationship(we've been together a year and 2 months) I never got mad at him or confronted him about looking at other girls. Now I am always accusing him of looking and get annoyed and tell him its rude. He tells me hes not stupid and if he was going to look it would be behind my back. I love him a lot and I know he loves me but I hate having to feel this way. I know I am extremely insecure...and the fact that hes a bodybuilder and girls constantly check him out p*sses me off just as much. Help me I don't know what to do I hate feeling this way.....and feel guilty about asking him why he looked at such and such girl

RomanceClass.com Advice
I agree that it is often rude when your partner checks out members of the opposite sex in your presence.

They were probably raised in families where that was acceptable behavior. What can you do about it but nag? Probably not much.

What can you do about the jealousy? Practice this technique to chase away jealous feelings: whenever you feel jealous say to these feelings "Go away, you don't bother me, my bf loves me." After 100 or so times, the jealous feelings will give up trying to bother you.
