Does he like me or is he just being a flirt?

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Female
Me and this guy have been friends for almost a year now. Last year he would mess around with and push me and just pretend like he was goign to fight me. I'd go along just because i liked him. This year he does teh same thing. One day after school he pushed me against the wall(just messing around) and i kept trying to push him away(just messing around). Hes a lot bigger and stronger then me so it was just for fun. Then later that day we were sitting on a couch in our school and he kept leaning his head on me and pulling me close to him. After that day we still talked but nothing really happened. He'll still you know be friendly to me and stuff like last night at this musical thing he has a solo and so do i and i go on right after him so i told him good job and he put his arms around my waist but nothing more.I also see him hanging around other girls lockers. Does he like me or is he just being a flirt?

RomanceClass.com Advice
He probably likes you and is being a flirt too.

If you want to become closer to him, wait until you are alone and tell him you are "developing feelings" for him. If he needs time or mentions "friends" then tell him you'll give him some time to think about it and ask him again the next time you see him alone.

My sense is that he will tell you that he likes you too and start spending more time with you.

I hope so! George
