About three years ago,I fell in Love with the new girl. We became pretty good friends. I never told her how I felt because after the last day of school I had to move two states away, and I thought I would never see her again. Three years later, not too long ago, I looked up her number. The number I
got was her grandmothers. I left her my name, my number, and
said I was a friend of the girl. Should I wait for a call
from her, call the grandmother and ask for the girls number, or something else because I didn't exactly tell the grandmother to tell the girl to call me back.

If she doesn't call you back, it's probably because she is married or has a boyfriend.
But just to be sure, call her grandmother again and ask for her number. Her grandmother probably won't give it to you so you will have to ask her to pass the message on that you would like for her to call.
It's also possible that the grandmother never passed your message on.
