okay... so me nd my bf broke up yesterday... he broke up with me ... telling me that i piss him off, he really thinks we're not gonnah work... he doesn't have feelings for me anymore, because of constant bickering... that we are both going through many hard times< school, aplying for colleges etc...> and lastly he tells me that he is not the only boyfriend i will have in my life. he is the first of my many bfs.... isn't that a harsh thing to say... so someone you used to love and cared so much about... what should i do from now on? i love this guy... form reading your tips i should act as though im perfectly fine and happy without him.... but from what iam telling you right now,,, do you think this relationship is worth fighting for? nd worth me waiting for him? .... or is it over......
:( .... weve been together for almost 2 years,,, and weve been fighting for a year of that time.... thats what hes arguing... what should i do?

I wouldn't say it is over... time will tell about that.

You have a lot of stresses in your lives now and that is causing problems with your relationship. That is what causes your bickering.

Whether you can overcome that is up to you. The best way to stop fighting is to have a signal between you that says "Hey, let's stop now and love each other." It could be the peace sign or Spock's fingers or whatever.

Right now you need to decide whether to give up on the relationship. If you do, that will be painful but probably be better in the long run. But if you want to try to keep it going, call him once a week to see how he is doing, to let him know you still care, and to maintain contact. Don't talk about relationships unless he does and keep the call to 15 mins.
