I still want to be friends with him

hey there,
Okay so my ex broke up with 2 months ago. now he is totally ignoring me, and wants to have nothing to do with me. When he broke up with me he said he wanted to be friends. we started talking a little and then a party we had he didnt even make an attempt to say hi to me.now i still wanna be friends with him. what do i do? Mine and his friends are like picking sides and i dont want that to happen what do i do for that 2?
please help me.

He doesn't care about you and your friends are choosing sides.

The way to put an end to all this confusion is to decide that you don't care about him any more. Then all your problems will go away.
