Does he really not have the money?

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Female
Hello,

I really have fallen for this guy at school. Hes sort of one of those "trouble types" but its not too bad, and hes 2 years older so its a bit of a problem. Im a goody goody, and a freshmen at that, but i like him. So i told my friend in confedence. That didnt work. She told him. he replied.
"Ohhh, shes soo cute. I'd totally go out with her. . . but. . ."

"what?"

"I have no money." and with that he left. IM always told how cute i am, and I look young for my age (though am often told i act years beyond my age.) SO now i wonder. does he mean it? does he really not have the money, or is he just being polite and not saying "I wont go out with her." Ive totally been in love with this guy for most of the year, and when i asked my friends they all said, knowing him he wasn't lying and wants to go out with me. Id love to believe them, but they are my friends and have to be that way. Do you think he likes me at all?

My first reaction to people is that they are honest.

He said you were cute and he wanted to go out with you.

You should walk up to him and say you want to go out with him and that money doesn't matter.

Good luck! George
