We've been dating for 3 years now, but we have not been intimate
Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Female I'm 17 years old, dating someone I love very much. We've been dating for 3 years now, but we have not been intimate. I'm afraid, because I'm still a virgin, and don't know if it's worth it to give it up now, or if I should wait till marriage. The problem is we have decided that we won't get married for at least another 3 years. Should I wait>?
RomanceClass.com Advice The main thing that should concern you is the risk of pregnancy.
An unplanned child can throw a monkey wrench into all your life expectations.
Other than that, it's really not a question that someone can help you with given your circumstances. Being intimate now will give your relationship a firmer foundation at least for the time being. Waiting could make the bond between you even stronger. How does your boyfriend feel about this?
Talk this over a lot with your boyfriend as it is an important question.
Good luck! George
