I can't wait that long because in 7 months I'm leaving to the military

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Male
I'm really inlove with my bestfriend and well we went out last year but she broke up with me and well right now Her boyfriend broke up with her about 2 weeks ago. And Last week I told her I wanted to go back out with her and that I still like her. I care so much for her. And I can tell that she still likes me, plus her other two bestfriends told me that she still has feelings for me and they could tell that I make her happy (even now that she got her heart broken b/c she WAS "inlove" with the guy but not no more). well what I really want to do is be oher boyfriend and I've asked her out but she said if I could wait 5 months. I can't wait that long because in 7 months I'm leaving to the military. I really want to be with her. Well any advice towards this will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. 18

Tell her that you would appreciate a compromise and not wait five months because you are going into the military in seven months.

I'm sure she will be happy to compromise once she realizes your situation.

Good luck! George
