Problem is that he's leaving to Brazil in 5 days

Visitor's Question from a 41-50 year old Female
ok here's my story..
2 weeks ago i met a brasilian guy who came to ecuador in an interchange program.. he's staying at a friends house..
i have never met someone like him i mean he is very nice to me and we have so much i common and he is the first one who pushes me to be myself and makes me open up and talk about stuff.. i can't stop thinking about him i'm crazy about him! eventhough we have seen each other in few occasions i try to flirt with him and i think he flirts with me too. the problem is that he's leaving to brazil in 5 days and i also think he has a girlfriend back there i'm not sure.. i've been thinking about giving him a present in the airport like a cd with a song that tells him what i feel or a letter i don't know.. but i'm afraid he might take it the wrong way (and think i'm a stalker or crazy girl) and ruin our recent friendship..
i'm shy and it's the first i'm willing to do something like this for a guy but i feel like it's worth the try.
what should i do?
please answer me asap 'cause he's leaving soon.

RomanceClass.com Advice
You feel strongly about him and so you should act on your feelings.

Give him a letter and ask him to read it on the airplane. In addition to telling him how you feel, give him ways to contact you. Or better yet, trade postal and email addresses as well as phone numbers before he leaves.

You have nothing to lose and everything to gain. If you write the letter with care, he won't take offense and risk your friendship... in other words, keep it reasonably light hearted but definitely tell him you care for him.

Good luck! George
