I'm completely in love with her.

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Male
There is this girl I have liked for 4 and a half years. No, not liked. I'm completely in love with her. The thing is, I think she liked me back 3 years ago but I'm not sure if she still has the same feelings. I never did anything about it cuz im a big pussy, but now I really want to. People tell me to get on with life and you probably will too, but that's the last thing I want to do. I know this is love because when I used to have crushes on girls, I would think about them giving me a bj or something, but when I think about this girl, all I want is to fall myself into her arms and for her to be happy. Love is something that lasts forever and I will never give up on this. There is only a year and a half left for me to make a move, but I'm still a big pussy. What should I do? I'm not sure if she will be in any of my classes next semester so I'm not sure if I'll ever see her to talk to her. I really hope she is in one of my classes...

RomanceClass.com Advice
You can get rid of your shyness one of two ways:

One is to just walk up to her and tell her you love her and see what happens.

The other is to take it slowly and gradually build up your confidence and her knowledge of you.

You didn't say, but I'll assume you know her name but don't talk to her.

So, whenever you see her in the hall or wherever, look her right in the eyes, say in a clear voice "Hi" plus her name, and give her a big smile. She will (if she is a normal person) say Hi back and smile. Do this a few times and then ask her how she is, she will say fine and you say great. Eventually you two will feel comfortable with each other and start talking more. Then you try to make a friend out of her by seeking her out however you can. Once you are friends then you will tell her how you feel. This will all take about a month or two.

But remember it won't work unless you take the first small step of saying Hi to her and smiling. Don't worry if you goof up the first time, she will be understanding. Remember that girls like boys to give them attention so she will be happy to hear your voice saying Hi.

Good luck! George
