My boyfriend is very clingy

My boyfriend is very clingy, and i dont know if this is reason enough to break up with him. I still have feelings for him, but he doesnt like my friends. I've tried bringing up the topic of a possible break up before, but he always begs me not to do so. Is the clinginess enough reason to break up with him, or should I talk to him or something? thank you.

You would do him a favor by clearly telling him to drop the clinginess.

Also, tell him he needs to accept your friends if he wants to get along with you.

Sometimes explaining something to a b/f can change things for the good.
