She wants separateness

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Male
ive broken up with my g/f about 5months ago. i wanted to move on and find someone else so i started dating other people but it never gets anywere because deep down i still have feelings for my ex. we speak to each over once in a while and she always wants to know what ive been doing and who with (basically wanting to no everything i get up to). she knows how i feel, iv been told by a friend that she still has feelings for me and is always telling other girls about how great i treated her and how great i am. but whenever i ask her about us she eithier changes the subject or says that she thinks we need to carry on in are separate ways. when we see each other i can see that she is nervous and when we hug its one of those really tight and long hugs. im confused, should i stay out of her life for good or sould i stick around, or has it been to long and there nothing left for us?

RomanceClass.com Advice
Ask her for another chance.

Just say it outright "I want another chance!" She might say ok, you never know until you try.

I think she still likes you and there is something holding her back from you. Maybe it is something she did when you were together that she is ashamed of.

Tell her that you want to forget your earlier relationship and pretend it never happened and start over completely fresh. If she says no then ask her to go out for dinner "as friends." She may go for that. Anything you can get at this point is pure gold.

Go for it! George
