Trouble is I have little to no self confidence

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Male
I really like this girl. Trouble is I have little to no self confidence in talking to girls I like and from appearances she is very shy as I see her talking to very few people and even then very quietly. I have had a bit of contact with her but only in a group situation and I may not have come off that well (aka loud and slightly obnoxious). What do I do?

RomanceClass.com Advice
Try to make friends with her separately from the crowd.

Make sure you pass her in the hall or elsewhere during the day. When you see her always look her in the eyes, say Hi plus her name, and give her a big smile. She is sure to say Hi even if she is shy. If not, keep trying... it's her problem you are trying to help her with and she will appreciate it that you keep trying. Pretty soon you will be asking her how she is doing and she will say fine and you say great. After that you can try to talk to her a little more as a regular conversation.

She will be shy but you have to be the strong one. Show yourself that you have the nerve to help another shy person come out of her shell. If you don't try nothing will happen so what do you have to lose?

Good luck! George
