Is a bad idea to be dating so soon?

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Female
I am 20 and my boyfriend of almost 2 years and I had been fighting lots and had broken up before. Recently it was a for good break up. At first I was upset but the I began to realize how much better I felt. I got a new boyfriend and weve been dating for about 2 months. Recently I began to talk to my ex again just as friends and nothing more. When I started to think about certain things at times it would make me want to cry and at others I could just look back and think how much fun it, like looking back and being able to smile that it happend. I still really care about my ex, but at the same time I dont know if I would want to be with him. I really dont want to hurt my current boyfriend either, but I cant seem to stop the feelings for my ex. Will this go away with time? Or is a bad idea to be dating so soon?

RomanceClass.com Advice
You may have started dating too soon after the break up.

But that is water under the bridge now. You have a new boyfriend and you don't want to hurt him.

Enjoy your memories of your old boyfriend and gradually they will diminish. If they don't then you can reconsider your relationships.

Meanwhile work at building those same memories with your boyfriend.

Good luck! George
