That was three months ago, and he hasn't stopped by.

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Female
I dated this guy who is 7 years older than me about a year and a half ago for about 4 months. He told me at the beginning that he was in a 3 year relationship and was not happy, the only problem was that she had 2 kids that he got attached to and he owns his own house, which they live there to, and he didn't just want to throw them out. So we just started hanging out as friends. I don't fall for people fast at all because I have a lot of trust issues (that he really didn't know about) Well anyways, I actually started falling in love with him. I wanted to tell him so bad, and I think he knew it, but I never did. He sat me down one day and said that he wanted to know if it was for real between us before he does something awful to his current girlfriend. 2 days later he broke up with her, and I know he felt really bad because he cried about it. We had sex for the first time that night, and that just pulled me closer to him. A week or two later, he went on a hunting trip with his father for a week, and when he came back, he just didn't seem himself. So I left him a note on his truck one night telling him to call me and he never did, so I called him. He wasn't upset as far as I could tell, but he was at work so he had to let me go. That was all I heard from him for almost a year. Then about 3 months ago he was behind me on the road, so I pulled over and he did to. (I ABOUT HAD A HEARTATTACK BECAUSE I HAVEN'T STOPPED THINKING ABOUT HIM) And he asked me if I had a boyfriend and I told him no. So then he asked me I was stilling waiting around for him, and I automatically said no. So stupid I know. But I didn't want him to think I was pathetic. Well then he said that he thought about stopping by my work a while ago, but he didn't know what kind of reaction he'd get out of me, so he didn't. He said he still wants to be friends. I said that he could definitly stop by. That was three months ago, and he hasn't stopped by. I swear I cannot get this boy out of my mind. I have passed him on the road a couple of times, and have even called his house one time pretending to be wrong number just to hear his voice. Craziest thing I've ever done. I want him back so bad, every guy I've gone out with since then are great, but I can't continue with them, because he is what I want. I don't know what to do. I have thought about mailing a CD to him with the song that he dedicated to us, or sending him a 'Miss You' note. Do you think that he could still be interested and what should I do. I don't want to bother him if he doesn't want to be bothered, but how am I supposed to know?? HELP PLEASE!!!!

RomanceClass.com Advice
It appears that once he broke up with his g/f and two kids he had second thoughts about it and decided to dump you instead.

He probably still has fond thoughts of you but the pull of his home is far stronger than those feelings for you.

My advice is to not call or contact him again, do not give him a present, and get your mind off him however you can. See a professional counselor if necessary.

Good luck! George
