My life is fine I just cant get my ex back

the guy i was going out with was my first serious relationship it was the best time of my life i went out with him for over a year.we were both in love. my schooling was coming to an end so i decided i should end the relationshp to concentrate on my schooling, but i didn end up doing that. after 2 months i was facing an eating disorder and my best friend had left me after accusing my boyfriend on cheating on me which he wasnt she jus thought it would be fun to say it to everyone. i was hurt and betrayed i left him and i lost my bestfriend after 17 years. i went out with her ex for 2months but he was jus ther to help me deal with my problems we ended it with eachother because we both new i wasnt over my ex. my life is fine i just cant get my ex back.

You need to approach your ex if you want him back.

Try calling him on the phone once a week just to ask him how he is doing, to let him know you still care, and to maintain contact. Be cheerful. Don't discuss your relationship, and keep the calls to 15 mins.

This will give him plenty of space and give you the contact you need.
