Get him to be closer to me

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Female
I am a 29 yr old disabled female who has a crush on a 21 yr old disabled male. I have had a crush on him for 5 yrs, the first 4 yrs I had to stay friends with him because of his age. We flirt once in a while. Since a week before christmas he started getting really friendly with me and I appreciated it, but there is two issues I have to deal with I really have strong feelings for a very special friend who told me he was thinking of me over a year ago and I can't change my feelings for him right away and once he got moody when my caregiver told him I liked him. My question is What am I supposed to say and do to get him to be closer to me.

RomanceClass.com Advice
You want to get him to become closer to you.

Good communications is a great start. Share your feelings and let him share his. Be tactful but completely open. Be caring, honest, friendly, sincere, humorous, etc. This sounds like common sense but it is surprising how few people are good at most, much less all, of these.

Also introduce very slowly some touching. Pat him on the should either for praise or commiseration. Same thing for his forearm. If he is accepting of the touching you can touch his knee or hair.

Unless he is resistant, all the above should help you get him closer to you.

Good luck! George
