He sounds very pleasant, so it's a shame that you had to leave dance. It's nice, though, that you are still in touch.
Is there any chance of you meeting up elsewhere, with a group of friends, perhaps, since you may not know him too well yet?
Maybe bowling or ice-skating or something like that?
How old are you both, as your ages might affect where you take it from here.
