So my colleague is getting married this weekend and we are having a "Man Shower" for him. Everyone is supposed to give some advice and write it down. However, I can't think of anything to write. So let's hear some ideas flow...

'Never let the sun set on a quarrel' ~ old advice, but good advice.

And ~ read 'Women are from Venus, Men are from Mars' by Gray ~ or one of the other books in a similar vein.

If each understands how the other's mind works, it really does help to prevent misunderstanding and discord.

Why not get one as wedding present for them!
I don't agree with everything they say, and there are some generalisations ~ but I do think they are worth reading!

Treat her with consideration. At least as much consideration as you would give your friends, or your mother. Make time for each other.

Good manners are important, always. (Please and thank you and all that.) Kindness is, too.

Once in a while, remind her of something you remember from an early one of your dates, or compliment her on one of the traits that was/is important to you.

A wedding isn't the finish line; it's the starting point. Love takes nurturing. But it's well worth it.

Yay!! Kariva, I'm so glad you get to see these!! Hehe. I thought of a few funny ones like:

Always put the toilet seat down.

If you're a splasher; be a wiper.

Never trust a fart! Or fart on your sweetie! It may be funny but it doesnt bode well in the bedroom.
