Hi Badluck1674

All you can do is be yourself and communicate as well as you can ~ and then hope.

It might be difficult if you can't see each other, though.

Could parents drive you to meet each other every week or fortnight, so that ypou could go to the cinema or for something to eat, perhaps?

Good luck!
i am going to her concert on thursday but i am just worried i will do somthing stupid and ruin this for us. and that i am to clingy.

Be positive!
You are unlikely to be that clingy, if you only see her occasionally.
And everyone worries about doing something stupid.
She's probably thinking the same thing.

Enjoy the concert!
ty you alway make me feel confident in myself!
I might just be paranoid, but she hasn't replied to me email or text. i know i shouldn't be worried but i am just afraid of being hurt...again. i guess i am just afraid...to lose her. i don't want to call her because i don't want her to get mad or think i am to clingy or over protective. i don't know what i should do.

Hi
OK, let's think about this.

What are the options?

She likes you as a friend and is wary of answering texts too quickly in case you think that she is more serious about you than she really is.

She cannot get on to a computer, because it isn't working / she isn't allowed / there's no privacy for dealing with personal mail/ etc, but she would like to get back to you quickly, if only she could.

For some reason, your e-mails & texts didn't get to her. Maybe she isn't allowed to use her PC or phone, perhaps.

She read and enjoyed your messages but didn't realise that they require replies.

She's a bit shy and doesn't want to appear too keen to be involved with you.

She isn't as committed to the relationship as she was, and as you appear to be, possibly because of the distance between you and other things occupying her time.

There may be more reasons.

However, she either likes you, and wants to try to make the relationship work, or she likes you, but doesn't want to pursue the relationship.

If it's the former, then all's well.

If it's the latter, you can try to convince her.

If, however, her feelings for you have faded, then, yes, you will be sad for a while, but it would be for the best.
You wouldn't want a relationship based on pretend feelings.

I know that teenage love can hurt ~ we have all been there ~ but you may not even have met the girl who will turn out to be your soul-mate, so don't be disheartened.

What to do now without appearing too needy or clingy?

You could give her a ring and check the details of the concert ~
confirm the time, check ticket details, etc.

Will you meet her there before the event?
Where?

Is she actually in the concert?
If so, you could ask if she is nervous and wish her luck.

Rehearsals may have been taking up her time, which might explain why she hasn't got back to you.

When you actually see her, you may be able to judge her feelings a little better, but, perhaps, when she is less busy with the concert, you could just ask how she feels about having a 'Semi-long distance relationship' and if she is happy with it?

Good luck! smile
she had her phone taken away and still is trying to make this happen between us and i am glad. we talked on the phone for 3 hours and its all good. ty for the advice though.

There you go ~ a reasonable explanation. smile
I thought that might be a possibility.
All is well for now and tomorrow i am going to her concert and she is going to get there early so we can spend some time together. i am really looking forward to it!

My advice to all my friends in the past, was to never date someone from the internet. Now, I've been posting on a all women forum for 8 months. Two weeks ago, one of the guys started to pursuit me. I ignored him because he was obviously flirting with me. This is a friend of one of the woman that I have been friends with for a long time and she wants to fix us up. Now, he asked me for a date Saturday night and wants my phone number. I've been finding myself (which is very unusual thinking about him alot). The problem is he lives in Houston, Texas and I live in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. I feel like an idiot! Why I'm I falling for this guy? I go out alot and never meet anyone that I like!
The concert was great and we got to talk a bit afterward. not as much as i would have liked but i still got to see her, so that is all that matters. we r still emailing alot and today we almost didn't talk all day so i called her and she said she was just about to call me! she has gotten me into anime and playing my trumpet again. we made plans to go see a movie after both of our vacations. i just hope to have the courage to hold her hand! any tips on that?

thanks,
Badluck1674

Hi & welome Ms Commom Sense.

I realise that this is also about a potential long distance relationship, but new subjects need new threads, so I'll start one for you.

Hopefully you will receive more relevant responses that way. smile
Good luck!

As for holding her hand, the first time my boyfriend held my hand we were watching a show together and he whispered in my ear and asked if it was alright and then smiled at me. I thought that was really sweet. I said yes, and he held my hand with his right and with his left stroked down my arm and my fingers.

It's intimate but it's really nice to do, its giving her a choice but showing that youre interested in her.
