Why are you supposed to feed a cold and starve a flu? Or do i have that backwards?

Blech. I am sick. I am being really good about not going into public and passing it on, but i also wish i had someone here to make me soup and put a cool hand on my forehead.

This is one of those times that living alone is a little more sad.

The saying is false . You should always eat nutritious, gentle food no matter why you're sick. You should rest up and drink lots of fluids.

Take care of yourself! Hopefully it will pass soon.

Fortunately I took good care of myself and it passed within two weeks. Usually these bugs stay around me longer than a month, so I was happy to get off so easily.

It really went sweeping around northern Arizona over Xmas - a lot of people got it. Drew and I are referring to it as the 2012 Ash Fork Zombie Flu.
