i once had dated my best friend. we never really ran out of things to say cus there was always something we both loved to talk about but when we didn't feel like talking it wasn't awkward at all either. point is, if you really like your best friend and you have a good enough reason to atempt to even begin flirting with them, then go for it be subtle!!! because if you're not careful you could ruin the entire chemistry of your group.
