Breaking up with someone you,ve been with for a while is horrible. It hurts more than anything, but the only thing you can do is not talk him him. If you talk to him, then you automatically give him the power. You always need to have the power, especially if you think you care about him more than he cares about you.
This may sound naive, but power is everything after a break-up. If he wants to be with you, then he,ll call. If he doesn,t call, then call him in a couple of months to check up on him because he might be doing the same exact thing you,re doing. Sometimes you need to accept that he just stopped caring about you, and realize that if you text him or call him, he might get annoyed and any possibility of having a friendship in the future might be gone.
I know you love him and it hurts to not talk to him, but do it for yourself. Do it because you,re young and you,re going to find someone someday. Do it because you need to prove to yourself that you don,t need him to be happy.
Trust me, when it,s all finished, you,ll feel relief. Time heals. You just need to give it time. A lot of time. Don,t talk to him.
