Men need to feel that you depend upon them. Note that this means you feel he is *dependable* - not that you are helpless without him! It makes a guy feel good to know that you trust him and depend on him to be there for you.
So when he comes through for you, shows up when he said he would, remembers your birthday, be VERY grateful. Bring those situations up when you talk to your friends, too. Too many guys are slammed for not doing these things. He deserves praise for the times he can depended on. The more you praise him, the more likely he will keep doing it.
