Choosing between Two Girls
Question: I really liked this girl a lot. We thought we were made for each other and it all seemed perfect. But then her dad didn't like me, and told me to get lost. He told my girlfriend to go far away so she wouldn't see me any more. My girlfriend was sad about this, but she did what her dad told her to do and told me we had to break up.
I missed her a lot and dreamed about her. But then a little while later I met this other girl. She was a lot different from my ex. My ex was pretty quiet, this new girl was more outgoing. My ex was dark, this new girl was blonde. The new girl liked me a lot and kept flirting with me.
What should I do? Should I stay true to my ex, because I love her, even though we're far away now? Or should I start dating this new girl?

Answer: It sounds like you're on the rebound. When you're getting over an ex, it can be really hard to be alone, and if someone new shows interest in you it can be really tempting to just jump into a new relationship. Especially when the new person is spending a lot of time flattering you and admiring your big sword.
My advice is to take your time getting over the pointy-eared ex. You were with her for a long time, and it'll take you a while to really get over her. Make sure it's really over. If the new blonde is still around for you when you get through it, you'll know she really cares for you and your relationship with her can start on the right foot.
