Original Visitor's Question from a 13-20 year old Female
My boyfriend and I get into alot of arguments over the stupidest things, they dont mean anything at all, just the fact of arguing with him upsets me. At first I tried not to let it get to me, but it just keeps on getting worse. I tell him that it bothers me and upsets me, and he always apologizes, I dont know what else to tell him. I just want all this to stop.

How does he treat his friends

Hi,

You and I seem to have the same problem. I have always been better at giving at advice than taking it.
My boyfriend and I have the same problem. At times I think we argue and fight because he never understands Me. I have never been the most social person and at times maybe a little insecure. My advice to you is if you are an argumentitive person by nature then the problem may be more than I can help you with. but from the sounds of it you are rather passive, always saying sorry. Try and assess how hw treats his friends, if he argues with them, take it as a blessing cause then he is treating you like an equal. If the subject matter bothers you, don't. Men have a different perception of emotional matters than we do. for them it is just another argument if they don't agree. The sad thing is that we have to learn to accept this for men will NEVER understand women and we will NEVER understand why they don't. Just love him, be who you are and always have been. If he cant accept that then he does not deserve you. I wish the best of luck and hope I helped, even just a little.
