Original Visitor's Question from a 51-60 year old Female My fiance asked me for money again. I have lent him over $3000 for a heat pump and have never seen a cent from it back yet. His ex wife gets him into financial binds all the time such as IRS trouble etc. He asked me for money again, and I don't have any to give him. I got angry and yelled at him and I said I should have to clean up after his ex wife etc. I never cursed etc. Well he got angry at me for talking to him like that and has not spoken to me since--that was 7 days ago. He will not answer my calls, he will answer my emails with pissed off emails. I have apologized, but he won't accept it. What do I do now? User Submitted Advice from a 41-50 year old Female His ex-wife sounds like a royal pain in the butt!It sounds like this woman has some kind of hold over him and its affecting your relationship.Also,he isn't very good with money and that is a red flag as well.First,Don't lend him any more money.He needs to learn from his mistakes and stand on his own two feet.Second,he needs to stand up to his ex and let her know that he is involved with someone else.
