I'm so confused about it. Does she actually like me?

Original Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Male
So theres this girl at work. I never thought anything about it until one day she approached me and 2 other guys working with me and said something along the lines of "You're not supposed to have more then 2 people working at the same place, you should come over here with me..." So we did and just casually talked and suddenly realized, "does this girl like me?". I then realized that *I* liked her, but I'm way too shy to ask her out and stuff.

I clued in that she has been giving me a lot of signals (i think) lately, she calls my name sometimes just so I turn around, or playfully punchs me or holds my arm. Sometimes it sounds like shes about to approach me about it, but then she falters and her sentence turns into something completely unrelated.

I'm unsure whether shes actually serious or just joking about stuff. A recent example is the store is selling Valentines day stuff, so she holds up a little 'I love you' teddy bear and says "you should buy this for me" but then quickly says to a guy nearby "you guys should chip in and buy this for me!"

I'm so confused about it. Does she actually like me? And whats the best thing to do if she approaches me about it? (I think she realizes that I'm super shy and won't approach her)

Thanks in advance.
