Original Visitor's Question from a 51-60 year old Male
I have a female friend who I care about very much. She is sweet person and fun to be with. The problem is whenever she drinks, she develops an attitude. She becomes very hateful, whiney, argumentive, rude and even wants to fight, especially with other women. The other evening, she got into a heated arguement with another woman and almost got us kicked out of this place.I was so embarassed I wanted to run and hide.I've told her about this, but, she denies that she has a problem.I know that she is very lonely in that she doesn't have any other friends and wants to move away from here. She tries to drowns her sorrows, but,it makes everything worse.I know that she is deeply unhappy and I have tried to be supportive and all, but,I am at my wits end. Should I stay with her and try to help her? Or should I leave? Thanks!
