She flirts, then leaves....

We often have visitors write in with solutions to each others' problems. Here is a visitor's solution to one of our visitor's questions.

Original Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Male
Well, I'm 17 and the girl in question is a year below me. We started to get to know each other last year, when I became friends with some of her male friends, and she always has a fairly flirtatious personality, yet is quite shy.
On about four or five occasions, she has told me she 'loves me' but due to her previously flirtatiousness, I don't know whether she means this. During my last week at the school, she came near me with a friend whilst I was chatting to a group of older friends of mine, looking like she had something to say to one of us, but that was it.
Now it's been about 7 months without seeing her, but I can't get her out of my head - I have enough to contact her by, but I don't know what I should do...
Help much appreciated!

User Submitted Advice from a 13-20 year old Male
Be flirtatious

The last thing you want to say is "I can't get you out of my mind." This destroys the mystery and intrigue that makes romance great. Contact her and see if she wants to do something casual like get a cup of coffee and be flirtatious with her. She'll realize that you have feelings for her if you're flirtatious and she might start to feel the same.
