User Submitted Advice from a 21-30 year old Female You can if you want to but don't do it because your boyfriend wants you to. If you shave then do so at least every other time you take a shower. If you continue to keep it shaved the area will eventually soften up and not hurt you or the guy your with. It also is a good idea to shave because it helps prevent yeast infections, pubic odor and crabs. And if your concerned about what guys think...a lot of them like it shaved.
