Original Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Male I am a 19 year old guy attending college away from home. Recently, I found a 26 year old gal that I have taken interest in through an online site. I have gotten to know her like I know which type of flowers she and she doesn't mind being around smokers. We have been corresponding through emails lately and I did have the nerve to ask her to hang out some time next week. I found out that she is a closet writer and she hasn't been in a good mood lately. I found out that she has written some morbid thoughts and have wrote about her grandmothers death. I got her to mention that shes afraid and all but I havent been able to get her to talk about the fears and her thoughts. I have sent her a card wishing that she would feel better soon. I was wondering if there are ways to make her cheer up and how I can find out from her the things that would cheer her up. Or more. However, she brought up the topic of her going to bowling with a bunch of people and a friend of hers. I don't know how to respond to her bringing up about her friend. How do I respond to her to show that I want to know who her friend is and that I am interested in her and not her friend (by flirting a little)?
