Original Visitor's Question from a 13-20 year old Male
hi, there is this girl that i met this year about 8 months ago. The second we met we quickly became very good friends. Over time she has become one of my best friends, me and her connect so well together, i gave her birthday and christmas presents that she appreciated very much. Very soon after meeting her i started thinking of her as more than a friend, i had a suspicion that we liked each other, my other friend constantly told me that we flirt with each other and that we like each other. We have gone on dates as friends to dinner/movie and i have soo much fun with her. I cant stop thinking of her, i have fallen in love. When asked if she likes me she replies that she only wants to be my friend, i assume that she doesnt want anything to happen to our great relationship as friends. I cant accept the fact that she doesnt like me, i feel it, as well as other people who all say we flirt and like each other. Her and I are so alike, we are basicaly the same person, we have so much in common. But now it seems that she is growing distant from me, like we dont talk as much as we used to, this got me very worried. She has confided in me and we have a very good, close friendship, i truely believe i have found the girl i could marry. What should i do, and how should i let her know how much i care about her?

Talk to her

I think we're the same, we fall inlove with our bestfriends. But aour only difference is, i didn't have the guts to tell my bestfriend about my feelings to him.Actually i had a hard time accepting the truth, my friends and almost all the people around us tell me that it seemed that i have a feeling with my bestfriend but i told them that i don't have. But now i myself starting to see that what they say is true.
Am., as an advice try to talk to her then explain to her clearly about your feelings. That you don't mean or you didn't plan to have some feelings to her. It's one of the hardest part, telling your friend that you love her more than as a friend. But it's better that you told her because time will come that she'll discover it. It's bettter because it came from your mouth and not to others. Your friend's reaction is natural but she's not mad at you. It's just that she don't really understand you. Try to talk to her and explain everything. Be honest with her about your feelings and try to make her understand your true intention. Your still so young and yet your talking about marriage, you don't know how heavy is your responsibility when you enter it. Your still young, enjoy your life because you don't know what God planned for you. Just take it as an experience, learn from it. I hope i give u a bit of an idea what should you do. And good luck to the both of you, i hope you will not experience what i'm experiencing now.
