Original Visitor's Question from a 13-20 year old Female I know that this is probably a stupid questoin to ask, but how do I overcome being jealous of this other person. She's always bragging about what her and her boyfriend did [she knows that I like her boyfriend] and trying to make me jealous. This girl is sort of my friend and sort of not. I really need some advice on what to do. User Submitted Advice from a 41-50 year old Female Being jealous is NO fun!Jealousy stems from insecurity and fears.She has a guy that you like and you don't,so you feel like you have been cheated out of something.She knows this and tries to pour salt in your wounds by telling about their realtionship.She doesn't sound like a friend to me! Talk to her and ask her why she is behaving this way.Maybe,she is afraid that you'll steal her boyfirend from her!Maybe she has insecurites of her own.Just sit down and have a heart to heart talk with her.Hopefully,she give you some honest answers,if not, you probably need to distance yourself away from her.
