Her first ex threatened to kill me because of my crush on her. She knows I like her, but all she does is stare at me all day, not a word said and I'm too shy to speak to her! How can I get her to say something that I would want her to say. Help me please! User Submitted Advice from a 13-20 year old Female Just Start Talking First of all, girls almost never make the first move. Second of all, you can't read our minds. The hard part, you have to get over your shyness because we all have one life, and if you think she likes you, what the heck, try it. Talk to her. Tell her something about some events that happened lately, or just play it safe and say "hi, what's up?" that's good for a start. And besides, peer pressure is the worst thing that stands between many future couples. But the fact is, you can't keep hiding, and besides, I'm a girl and I know that most girls love it when boys talk to them.
