Original Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Female I have had the hugest crush on this guy since 4th grade. I fially asked him out he said no he does not want a girlfriend right now but it's been about 3 months now and durring school he always stares at me and he will stick up for me and hold doors i love it my friends say I should talk to him but I try and he'll say hi and stuff but that's it not like he use to realy talk to me. I'm confused does he like or hate me I know he's not shy because he is always around other girls. help!!!! User Submitted Advice from a 13-20 year old Female I Stayed Friends Hey I know exaclty how you feel. This same situation happened to me when i was in grade 9. I had an enormous crush on this guy i knew since kindergarten! I had a friend ask him out for me. He said no, he didnt want to ruin our friendship. For the first little while it was really hard for me, but i got over him and found a new awesome guy in grade 10. He and I are still friends and you know what, i'm kind of glad nothing happened between us because it could have really hurt our friendship.
