Original Visitor's Question from a 13-20 year old Male
I went out with a girl for a few months about a year ago. She broke up with me and I was crushed. I didn't speak to her for about 6 months. Then out of the blue she starts going out with my best friend. Jealousy consumed me. Since he is my best friend he shares stories about things they do together ,like most guys do. I find myself thinking of them doing these things at night and the already-constant jealously becomes uncontrollable. I'm worried that it'll only be a matter of time before a confrontation happens. I don't want to lose my best friend but I dont know if I'll ever come to accept with them being together. Please help, thank you

Be happy for your friend

i think that you should just be happy for your best friend and you ex-girlfriend and set your feelings aside. think about how happy they are and STOP thinking of only yourself because if it was meant to be then you would be with her right now and not your best friend so you should be happy that she moved on with her life and you should do the same as well. maybe if she thinks that what ever you did wrong has changed she might take you back, but first you should at least try to be happy for them because you don't want to ruin your relationship with either one so if she thinks that your man enough to move on and you try to fix what you did wrong she might take you back. so if you act really gloomy and sad don't because if she did break up with you for no reason she probally wasn't worth your time even though you might of had alot of good times but i'm sure you had some bad times too. so, if there was more bad times than good that should tell you that there was something wrong with that relationship anyways. well i hope that i have gave you something to think about and you learned something from all of this and that you are happy
