Original Visitor's Question from a 13-20 year old Male I have this friend who is a girl. I love her very much, and she knows it. I'm a muscician, I write her songs and poems but she doesn't seem to want to respond to them. We spend time with each other at our homes. We hug, I tell her I love her, and she doesn't say anything. She says were only Best Friends but I want to be with her the rest of my life. I once told her i want to marry her some day, she just didn't say a thing. we get along great our personalities are nearly identical, I just dont get why she wont respond to me when I tell her I love her. Please what should I do or say? User Submitted Advice from a 21-30 year old Female Try dating others Hi, I am sorry, but either she is scared of all your open love, confused about what she really feels, or I believe that she does not love you back. She definitely likes you and likes to hang out with you and probably loves the ego boost everytime you hug her and writes poems, etc, but you either do that too much and she is scared or she just doesnt feel THAT way about you right now. I believe f she loved you back in the physical way, she would have demonstrated already. You can either chose to back up a little on the dotting and start going out more without her and trying to see other people a little, just for your own mental health, or just keep spending time with her but without the whole daily declaration session. And you dont seem to like playing games, but you might get an interesting reaction if you start going out more with other people and she sees you with other girls.
