Original Visitor's Question from a 41-50 year old Female My boyfriend calls me at least 10 times a day and is constantly saying he loves me. He says it a couple of times during one conversation. I think this type of behavior is strange, especially for a guy. Could it mean that he is cheating and is making himself feel better by calling me so often (maybe even to make sure where I AM)? He doesn't have a steady job (he can't keep one because of his temper) and has lots of time to play around during the day. I know he is a loser in that aspect and I know I'm an idiot for sticking around. What are you thoughts? User Submitted Advice from a 21-30 year old Female Settle it tonight My boyfriend has cheated before... this is what he does! He gets angry when i "Brrrring It UP Again." He doesnt have time to talk to me when hes at work.. I try not to call unless Its important. well recently HE called me to let me know he was going to be working late! Best part... he seemed "caught with his pants down" when I asked him how late... he said like 5 o 6pm. do you know this is his normal time! So I asked him right then.. what is going on! well... he had to go.. even told me he loved me very much!!! well... im crushed over this..I hung up and was sitting there realizing it, like a slow burn...rush of helplessness...like being TERRORIZED or tortured... for HOURS I sat there praying to God and weeping that he would save me from myself. well... I still dont know anything except my friend, this girl, has stood me up on coming over 3 times already.. I havnt seen her face since. Hasnt even called me..ive had to call her... so I did, when I got home that afternoon, she told me her car had been broke down all day... and lucky for her a mechanic stopped to help her, and fixed it! Sounds like an aliby...That was the first thing out of her mouth since that day.. He came home during the day that day because I did an investigation of everything... cigarette butts.. cups.. and anything out of place... I even dug ALL the way into the trash cans (I almost wished I had found a condom wrapper, yannO)All I found was a dirty book sitting on tha sofa. It was NOT there when I left tha house!! My boyfriend also failed to mention he had stopped by the house when he and I spoke, cause HE ASKED ME where I was! he denies it.... and i told him to think about it some more (i will) and ill ask him again later..he knows I wont let it go.. I need some closure here!! it hurts, but he thinks If he tells me the truth (later on) that it makes it ok, cause at least hes told me the truth. I gave him too much humping room!
