Back in Time @ RomanceClass - knowing that he's missed the deal of a lifetime I would want to say to the arrogant, headstrong 16 year old I was that she should take a leap of faith and tell him how she feels. I would tell her that by trying to cover up the hurt and pain by pretending she doesn't care it'll only continue screwing her up. I would tell her that by telling him, she'd be being honest and would feel free. He would have a choice and there'd be consequences, but they couldn't be as bad as denying feelings. Her feelings belong to her, if he can't handle them, then that's his problem- and there'd be an opportunity to move on knowing that he's missed the deal of a lifetime.
