After drinking and hanging out with my friends I ended up talking to B and told him how upset I was that he was moving away soon and how I thought I might never see him again. He hugged me and assured me no matter what we would still be good friends. He also asked me why sometimes when he asked me to hang out I seemed to back out at the last minute. I confessed to him that I had feelings for him but that I also was in a 5 year relationship with my boyfriend.. He then asked me if I was happy in my relationship. I was honest with him and told him no. That my boyfriend was often inconsiderate and that I knew he had cheated on me once before and I suspected it happening again. B asked me If I was unhappy in the relationship why was I still in it? I told him I didn't know.. probably just comfortable. He then told me about his ex-girlfriend, whom he had dated 6 years, and how hard it was for him to break-up with her. The next day I broke up with my boyfriend and couldn't have been happier. A few days later B called and asked me to come over and hang out. When i came over he had made dinner and oasted a glass of wine because he knew I was happy to have broken up with my boyfriend. We talked for hours, he asked me if I would ever consider him as a boyfriend. I told him I wasn't sure if I wanted another relationship so soon. He nodded and said he understood. Over the next week I found myself turning to him when I needed someone to talk to. He was kind and patient, and always listened. Soon i had realized I had fallen in love with one of my best friends. After finally gaining the courage to tell him, he told me he felt the same way. After he moved because of family reasons we carried on a long distance relationship for 3 months and then I moved out to go live with him. We've been together for two years now and I can't think of a more wonderful man then him. He's kind, warm and loving. B is the type of guy who buys me flowers for no real reason but to say he loves me and to surprise me, who's helped me when I've been sick, who loves to cook, and goes away on trips with me.
