Visitor's Question: Okay... my boyfriend(iguess) and i are both 18 and we have been dating for almost a year (10m28d)we dont argue very often and neither of us are controlling at all... we have the relationship that all my friends envy and try to find... but yesterday, out of the blue my boyfriend asked me to give him some time... that he wanted a break. it shocked me because its not like i am smothering him b/c we only see each other 2 or 3 times a week. the thing is this is really out of his character b/c he is one of those really sensitive guys... i mean the whole time we have dated we have talked to each other every day.... but now he wants a break... he kept sayin things tho that made it sound final but then he would hold me close and not let go adn say that he loves me... he made me promise that i would always love him.... i am so confused... i have been his first everything and his first long term relationship so i am thinking maybe he is feeling kind of pressured or something and he wants to clear his head... i just wanted yalls advice on it... do you think this is an honest break and that it will just blow over.... i mean i dont even see him making it 4 or 5 days without seeing me must less talking to me... he said that he would always be there for me so i am lost... can anyone help me? Our Suggestion: Give him the time he asked for. As you said he probably won't last very long without you but you need to let him figure this out himself. Good luck!
