What does she feel about me?

Visitor's Question:
I'm 21 years old in my 3rd year of faculty. During 1st year, I lived in the same student campus with a group colleague (it's her I'm talking about) I had become really into in only a few days after meeting her and ever since we've been getting along perfectly. She¡¦s the same age as me by the way. We resemble very much, mostly think the same, make the same jokes, etc. There was only one problem back then. She had a boyfriend.

During 2nd year we were now living in different places and one day, when I dropped by her, she told me she broke up with her boyfriend. Useless to say I was happy, but when I left, I saw the two of them kissing again. About a month later, I brought her some flowers for her birthday and after asking her, she told me again she was single and that she had stayed that way ever since she first told me. As I learnt, that was the last of a series of get-backs of her to him.

I didn't see her during the break between 2nd and 3rd year, but I did talk to her during this time. Well... mostly I did the calling cause she's not much of a caller when having nothing else to do, but every time we used to talked, we got along perfectly. I make her laugh a lot (often with flirting subtilities) and she enjoys the talks with me. During the summer I was talking about I invited her to go with me to the mountains during winter and she said yes.

Now for 3rd year¡K We, again, live in different places, so we only got to see each other for the first time in November. Every time we see each other we¡¦re quite happy about it, we feel really good and we hold arms (at her initiative), as was the case this time, which gave me good hopes. When I asked her again about the mountain trip, she was reluctant this time and she told me she had to think about it (I think she thought we would go on a group trip). That evening, when I came back home, I hooked up with another girl together with whom I went on my trip instead of my indecised crush. The thing is that she came to my place once for me to help her with some homework. As we were alone, we got kind of physically close to each other, virtually in each other¡¦s arms. I didn¡¦t try to kiss her. I told her I had a girlfriend. From that moment on, she wasn¡¦t as much talkative as before and she seemed very disappointed by that turn of events. Ever since she had always asked me about the state of events with my girlfriend and she used to make small jealous-seeming jokes about her.

After 2 months, I broke up with the girlfriend. On the day that happened she again came to me for some homework. My two other room-mates were present. I told her what happened and she seemed to lighten up when that happened. I invited her to remain at me that night but she received a call from her room-mate who was sick and said she wished she would have stayed but that she couldn¡¦t now. And she did promise me she would come again some other time.

A key-element may be her room-mate with whom she¡¦s been best friends ever since 2st year. Her room-mate isn¡¦t really good-looking and I really think she has no life but she always follows my wannahave-crush. Ever since I¡¦m single again (one month), her room-mate always comes with her when we¡¦re supposed to meet, so I haven¡¦t yet had the chance to approach her. Her room-mate doesn¡¦t know she kind of annoys me. Me and my crush were supposed to meet this week but she would always postpone it because of school. 2-3 days ago I gave her a red rose and a funny clever gift for Woman¡¦s Day (in Romania). She seemed thrilled but I haven¡¦t seen her ever since. We were supposed to meet today but she didn¡¦t answer neither my call nor my sms.

Does she like me? Do I bother her? Would she want something more or just to stay friends? What should I do? I hope you help me¡K I¡¦d be deeply greatful. Thanks for the time, hope I didn¡¦t bore you ƒº.

Our Suggestion:
You should ask your crush out on a date.

Go to the movies, take a walk, hang out, go to dinner. She will enjoy your company and perhaps things will improve for you.

Good luck! George
