Visitor's Question:
i've been with this girl for 6 years. found out she cheated on me with an old friend(lasted 1 year) and was talking to another guy(lasted 4 months)on the side during our relaionship. thats 3 guys that she juggled and mind you she did a pretty good job. she never volunteered to tell the truth, i would always ask the questions and she would get really angry and frustrated. with fears of her losing me she down played the situation by lying about the facts, only going with the information that i know of. seven months within trying to work things out i finally get the complete truth. i really am torn and confused on what to do. i want to work things out but the pain hurts so bad. i admit i cheated on her in the past but have learned and transfromed into a new man. should i give her the same chance or should i just move on? she tells me she willing to change but i thought me cheating and changing was enough to learn from. i want and am willing to make this work. i learned to understand that people make mistakes and no one is perfect. should we take time off, break up, or what? please help me..........

Our Suggestion:
Both of you want to try to make it work. So give it a try.

We all make mistakes, and both of you have done so. What you do about it shows how you really feel about each other.

Many others have forgiven far worse mistakes and have successfully moved on with their relationship. You could be like that if you try.

But don't let her make the same mistake again.

Good luck! George
