He's shy and really doesn't talk and so am I. Sometimes, when our teacher asks him a question, he answers in a "oh-yeah!" way. I really wish he will talk to me. How can I get closer to him and make him notice me??? Our Suggestion: Since you are both shy, the burden is on you to make the approach. Whenever you see him, look him in the eye and say in a clear voice "Hi" plus his name and give him a big smile. This may take several tries before he starts to answer back in a pleasant way.
