Visitor's Question: My brother recently got married to this girl, and my brother's wife has a younger sister about 21 years old and she is infact older than me by 3 years. I visit them every weekend, but i only go to see her. I have never told her how i feel about her. We give each other looks and sometimes we do flirt. No one in both family know that I like her except my brother along with his wife. However, others do suspect. I truly like (possibly love) this girl and would do anything to be together with her. How do I go about doing it? Our Suggestion: Really, the situation you're in is very, very common. People who enjoy each other's hobbies and personalities hang out together. So it's very often that friends date friends, friends date sisters, and so on, because the 'group' all has common interests and tastes. So it's very likely that (as much as you might hate to admit it) you and your brother have a good deal in common, his wife and her sister have a good deal in common, and so the things that would appeal to one of you would appeal to you all. So it's natural that the sister of someone your brother likes would be someone YOU like. Having siblings marry siblings happens fairly often. Not their own siblings of course :) I mean a situation like yours. So anyway, you luckily have all sorts of opportunity to get to know her better. So I would take advantage of it. I wouldn't go out into public with it just yet, because any relationship is hard enough without family and friends leaping into it :) So just build the friendship with her. Spend time with her, talk with her, have fun with her, go to fun movies. You'll be able to see over time if she is a fun friend that you want to keep as a friend - or if this is a relationship you really want to keep building into something more serious.
