Visitor's Question:
How do I get over an issue with my boyfriend and just learn to trust him? He was at a rodeo ( he rides Barebacks) and after the rodeo we talked on the phone and he was gonna go to the dance then at midnight he called and left me a message abou how much he missed me so on and so on, but he was tired and gonna go to bed. I trieed to call him back for like 45 min and no answer then finally at like 2am he calls and he says oh my buddy came and got me and had me come back to the dance. after about 10 min on the phone he urgently rushed to get off and got upset that I didn't want to let him go so he hung up and I couldn't get ahold of him until noon the next day. in the mean time his buddies girl friend kept calling me about her boyfirend and asks whos the girls house was they stayed at. to my knowledge they were suppose to be staying with to other guys in there trailor at the rodeo grounds. I finally got on the phone with Cody where he acted like I was just being a bitch the night before for no reason and when I asked where he stayed he continued to tell me that he stayed in the trailor. So again I talked to Kristine and she said her boyfriend said they stayed at this girls house. So I am very upset and not to mention 5 months pregnant and he continues to to tell me I don't know what I am talking about and then tells me that they are gonna stay there another night. I told him that I i didn't know who was lieing but sombody was and he better come home and tell me or I might be gone. His phone went dead and his buddy was roming thats why home! So when he got home at 5am he told me he had lied and that they had stayed at this girls house but he didn't tell me because he knew I would just get upset. he swears up and down there is nothing more to the storey but I just don't know if I beleive it... do I just drop it and beleive him or do you think there is more to the storey also

Our Suggestion:
Part of a good relationship is trust.

You should keep that trust until proven wrong. His story rings true to me and the reason for lying about it sounds true too.

But, if other events of this nature occur then your trust is being abused and you should tell him that.

Good luck! George
