first of all this is gonna be a lil long but i hope u really read it n give me a sincere response, it means a lot to me. Well i've had this friend in mexico since like 2004. We started getting along and for every vacation(summer n winter) i always hang out with her and everything, by the way by that time she had a bf. I started looking at her more like a woman than as a friend last summer but by that time i had a girl(was fixin to break w/her) and she was finally single. So when i got back from mexico we started chating n i started giving her complimments that she was cute and viceversa and we ended up agreeing in drinking together n she said maybe a mess around cuz she didnt kno if she would be single by december. time passed n december came n i heard when i got there that a week before she started going out with a guy from this other city that she studies in. At a party we were drinking and then i popped up the subject about us messing around n she said she couldnt cuz she was taken n it was hard for her to get into that relationship, then she told me to go to her room so we went and we just made out for a lil bit n she backed away n said that she couldnt do diz cuz it wasnt write and that she would think of the guy if she kissed me again. We still hanged out n everythin. on my last day i walked her home n she was gonna hug me but i stepped back n looked at her in the eyes and she kissed me for a long time. She once told me she liked me n that i was cute but i guess she wouldnt see a serious relationship cuz shes over there n im here. When my brother calls her sister,diz girl would always say that she misses me n she loves me(dont kno if as a friend though) anyways she resently told my brother to tell me to call her sum day n i will. Maybe she was really excited and into the guy at first n after we kissed n everythin she started doubting, cuz when all our friends saw us they could see that spark in our eyes. i just wanna know if u think i have a chance with her,at least mess around with her on vacations,or how to get her, this girl means a lot to me. Im 17 and she's 19 but im way mature for ma age thats what she likes about me.

Our Suggestion:
What I wonder about is why she started seeing someone a week before you arrived there and you were both interested in being together.

Well, whatever her reason, she does like you and maybe more. Maybe you should wait until she is single again and then ask her to go out with you, long-distance. This wouldn't be very satisfying but it's a thought.

Have you given any thought to where you are going to go to college. Maybe you could go to where she goes. That would make her more interested in you. But that's taking a big risk in case things don't work out between you.

Call her on the phone and ask her what her advice is. That way she will become involved in the planning.
