Visitor's Question:
Well, I asked you a short time ago about the cute guy from my theatre class. He is still shy, but the problem is that another guy appeared on the stage. Me, my shy admirer and the new guy go to the same dance class. Actually, once as always I never paid attention to the guys around me, I waited for them to make the first step. But this day I was tired of everybody and I wanted to dance and have fun, so I simply grabbed the new guy (he is a very goood dancer!) and danced with him during the whole evening. The problem is that he started flirting a lot and I did it too. And my shy admirer saw all that and stopped talking to me, stopped even saying "hi" to me. Still, after a couple of days he was fine, but he started telling me stupid stuff about other boys. But it is actually me who has the problem. I love the shy boy and care about him a lot but I am tired of waiting for him to overcome his shyness. I myself need to be loved and admired. So, now I am split between these two guys - the shy one whom I still feel like the other part of my soul and the new admirer who is not afraid to show his feelings and makes me feel so special. What should I do?

Our Suggestion:
Don't give up on the shy guy yet.

And, you aren't even sure if the new guy cares for you beyond flirting.

If you love the shy guy, why not take the lead and tell him how you feel about him. This should help him get over his shyness. Also tell him you are tired of waiting for him to show you how he feels. Tell him you know he is shy but that is no excuse for hanging back, especially since this other guy haa appeared in the picture.

At your age, it is time to stand up and say what you feel and stop waiting for guys to take the lead.

Good luck! George
